San Dimas, Los Angeles County
San Dimas takes its name from Saint Dismas, and its downtown keeps a frontier look, with wooden sidewalks along Bonita Avenue. The Walker House, built in 1887 as a railroad hotel, is now a museum and restaurant. Puddingstone Reservoir and the Raging Waters park lie on the south side, and the 1989 comedy Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure was set in the town.
